Did you know that Donald trump made his first million by investing free government money that he received in state of Ohio grants for real estate development? Yes, “The Don” himself got his start in Cincinnati Ohio using free money awarded by the government. You just have to think that may be the reason why the guy is a multimillion-dollar real estate tycoon. If you can make a million out of nothing, and get the government to give you, not loan you, give you, money to get started, you must be a genius right?

Nope. You don’t. Any average Joe, can do it. Donald Trump is no super human being. He’s just a man…with some money. Money you can have to by executing one of old Donny’s simple plans. Acquiring free government money.

Now this type of funding is available all over America, in every state. But since we’re talking about Mr. Trump and his beginnings, let’s stick with the types of funding that the state of Ohio grants. And guess what? You don’t even have to interested in real estate development in Ohio to find great financial aid opportunities. There are dozens of remarkable programs in the state of Ohio that offer funding to its residents for a plethora of useful and beneficial purposes. Some of these programs include;

The Ohio War Orphans Grant – A college scholarship program awarded to children of Ohio residents who have died or been disabled in line of duty during times of war.

The Ohio Teachers Corps Program - This program offers financial incentives to educators in order to provide quality teachers and educational curriculum in schools located in urban or rural areas that are considered to be “hard to staff” for various reasons.

The Ohio Instructional Grant – A fabulous program that caters to the highly academic students in low income families. It’s a shame to see a brilliant mind go to waste over a lack of college tuition funds and this programs prevents that from happening to Ohio residents who show an increased learning potential.

The Ohio Safety Officers Memorial Fund – An organization that provides tuition assistance to the children of peace officers, such as policemen and firefighters, who have lost their lives in the line of duty while protecting the community members.

Now you obviously won’t become the next Donald trump by looking into these programs. You’d have to research Ohio’s real estate development grants for that. But isn’t it good to know that the state of Ohio grants this type of essential funding to the people who need it the most?

The US American government is known to have a great amount of government funding available to it’s citizens, but it seems Georgia grants may be this countries most easily achievable forms of free government money.

As the economy continues to return to its forward moving state, it has been reported that many more American citizens are turning to the possibility of acquiring various types government funded grants to help alleviate the financial pressures that today’s economy has burdened them with. This has been a little known, or at least seldom exercised, practice that has been going on for decades. However, for obvious reasons, the amount applications processed for this type of funding has dramatically increased in recent years.

More an more citizens, in desperation, are discovering the numerous amounts of government financial aid that is available to US American citizens, and applying in masses. Every state in the country awards this type of grant money, but it seems that the state of Georgia grants these funds in a very organized and efficient manner than most other states.

It appears that perhaps state of Georgia may have been a bit quicker to anticipate the economic upheaval we are currently experiencing and decided to get a jump start on organizing their grant awarding system. As recently as March of 2006 the state of Georgia founded a The Grants Administration Unit within the Office of Procurement Services. This unit was specifically designed to help support The Georgia Department of Community Health.

This unit is active in insuring that all Georgia residents are not only fully informed and aware of the funds available through Georgia grant programs awards. But also to insure that the families and individuals who are in need of this funding are completely familiar with the grant writing process prior to application submission, are fairly and thoroughly evaluated during the approval process, are prepared with the necessary procedural requirements, and are properly assisted throughout the application process. This was a definite step in the right direction for our Peach state.

With all the stampeding to the local grant award agencies throughout the country, Georgia seems to be one of the few states who was prepared to take on the challenge of helping it’s community members in an organized and timely fashion which makes it much easier for the Georgia resident to advantage the funds needed in a timely manner. You can live anywhere in America and qualify to receive free government money in grants. But if you live in Georgia, grants may be much easier to acquire.

If you an Illinois resident in need of financial backing for any number of reasonable purposes, you should know that the state of Illinois grants billions of dollars in free government money to a great number of it’s citizens each year. The uses for these non repayable grant award funds are many and range from anything from small business grants to agricultural research funding to just plain old energy assistance to help with your utility bills.

In efforts to bring more awareness to Illinois residents about the fantastic monetary resources available to them, we’ll just briefly summarize a small few of the state of Illinois grants programs and the needs of which they apply to.

Energy – For those in need of energy assistance, there is a fantastic program called LIHEAP (Low Income Heat/Energy Assistance Program) that awards cash grants to low income families in need of help to pay their utility bills. And there is also a program for those who are necessarily considered low income, or in need of cash assistance but would like to learn to save on their energy bills or receive funding to purchase more energy efficient appliances. This program is called the State Of Illinois Division Of Energy and also teaches local teachers, residents and community business leaders about the importance of energy conservation programs.

Small Business – If you own a small business, you may want to look into EITP grants to extend your staff training. Employee Training Investment Program grants are awarded yearly to help small business owners provide advanced training programs to their staff members and/or provide initial training to newly hired employees.

Homelessness – This is needless to say, a major concern all over the country. In Illinois there is a program called the Emergency Shelter Grant Program. The ESGP on a regular basis provides funding to operate emergency homeless shelters, create more desperately needed homeless shelters, and provide the food, counseling, and essentials needed to help the homeless individuals in our state get back on their feet and off the streets. A very remarkable program indeed.

These are only a fraction of what is available to Illinois citizens by way funds made possible by Illinois grants programs. There are many fantastic opportunities for most Illinois citizens in the dozens of other grant programs that the state of Illinois offers.
