Did you know that if you are a student who desires to travel you may be able to do it free of charge thanks to student grants for travel? Now before you get excited and start packing up the beer bong and making your spring break vacation reservations, let remember that the free government money that may be granted to you is not able to be applied to party essentials. However, if you’re traveling to enhance your educational experience, the US government may be happy to fund your traveling expenses.

Unfortunately, learning to do a keg stand on Daytona Beach doesn’t count, but there are a plethora of other fun and rewarding experiences you can enjoy while traveling the world to advance your knowledge of all the amazing facts and finds that await you in exotic and unexplored regions of the earth.

If you are a student who is currently enrolled in any state, city, or private college or university, you may qualify for a great number of abroad study programs or national meetings and conferences that provide grants for travel to students who wish to complement their educations, portfolios and resumes with world travel experience. These programs are fantastic learning tools for students who wish to travel as well as for those who wish to teach, and also for the citizens of the countries that they visit. Students pursuing teaching degrees are particularly good candidates to qualify for this type of funding and sponsorship for two main reasons;

Student teachers can apply their skills and education to teaching the citizens of the foreign countries they visit while receiving hands on teaching experience.

The student teachers return with additional knowledge of foreign countries, lifestyles, art, education, architecture, cultures, religion, etc. This additional education enhancement provides them with a greater insight into foreign countries and relations and aids them in more effectively teaching American students about the customs of other countries.

Although student teachers are most likely to receive this type of funding for obvious reasons, these programs are not only available to student teachers. Any student currently enrolled can apply, and may qualify for educational grants for travel depending, of course, upon the purpose and destination of the expedition.

In closing, be aware that there is great possibility for college students to receive considerably generous amounts of free government money to enhance their educations overseas. But as of yet, there are no student grants for travel that will finance spring break activities. Better save your allowances for that.

Personal grants probably couldn’t save you from immediate physical harm, but they sure can bail you out of a potential monetary disaster. It worked for me, and many others. I’m here to tell you why so many American citizens today are looking to the help of government funded grants to help them out of debt during these times of financial crisis. If you or someone you know is experiencing extreme financial pressures and buckling under the burdens of enormous debt due to the nation’s poor economy, you can’t afford not to read this article.

Three years ago, I was doing great. Had a good job with benefits, job security, generous salary, I was on my way to a rewarding career and fulfilling life. When I thought things couldn’t get any better for me, I got promotion that came with a correspondingly generous raise. Obviously, I was delighted and believed I was to be even closer to reaching my or exceeding my goals. I purchased a beautiful home, furnished it with items I never dreamed that I could have, bought a new car, and was truly comfortable and content. Little did I know then that a year and a half later I would be turning to the government for personal grants to keep me from losing everything I worked so hard to accomplish. Thank God, I found these amazing programs or I don’t know where I would be today.

To make a long and painful story short, when the economy started really going downhill, like many other American owned companies today, my corporation began downsizing. At first I was safe, my hours were reduced a bit, but I still had enough substantial income to get by. It wasn’t long after that until my salary was reduced and eventually, I was laid off. The severance package wasn’t too bad, but losing all the benefits and having no new job leads (let’s not forget the unemployment situation these days) there was no possible way I was going to make ends meet. I was on the verge of foreclosure, repossession and had maxed out every credit card and taken out, and defaulted on, as many loans as I could get to prevent these things from happening. At the threshold of homelessness I discovered government funded personal grants. They literally saved me from certain financial ruin and unthinkable consequences.

I’m still not working, however, personal grants were able to provide me with free government money to alleviate many of the dire situations I was experiencing. I acquired enough funding to pay off my car, which I then sold and purchased a more economical and practical vehicle, hence putting a couple thousand dollars in my pocket for a “safety net”. I then received another grant to pay my back mortgage payments and property taxes, and was able to save my home. By this time I knew a little bit about the ins and outs of the grant application process and had found some very helpful grant writing kits online, so I decided to go for the gusto.

I applied for and received a home improvement grant and remodeled my oversized single family home into a duplex, rented one half of it out, and now have a rental income that pays my mortgage. After all that free government money, I still tried to get a personal grant to pay of all the loans and defaulted credit cards I owed on, but have yet to be successful there. These programs, though, really saved me from disastrous ruin. I don’t know what I’d have done without them. If you are experiencing any of the problems that I have recently recovered from, do yourself a favor and look into personal grants. It can save you too.

Did you know you could possibly obtain government grants for personal expenses, issued by the government to travel, buy clothes, dine out, start a personal web site, or any other type of entertaining activity that you so desire. It’s unfortunate, but there are people taking advantage of these programs that don’t really need the money. All it takes a little creative thinking and “extensions of truths” and you could be well on your way to living it up on free government money. Allow me to add this disclaimer before I go any further.

The writer neither suggests, nor condones executing strategies described in the scenario below. I’m just presenting a factual adaptation of what theoretically can be achieved by individuals abusing personal grants for material gain to show how simple this concept can be to those who are in legitimate need of personal financial assistance.

Here’s the deal, the government has billions of dollars to give away each year in scholarships, financial aid, loans and grants. When grants are obtained, they normally never have to be paid back. It’s literally free government money. However, you will need a purpose to acquire these grants and be able to prove that the money you received will be used for the intended purpose. What some people are reportedly doing is completely over extending their credit. Maxing out their cards, taking out loans, and buying cars they can’t afford. Once they’ve become unable to make payments, they apply for grants for personal debts to pay all of it off.

There actually are grant programs that will pay off your personal debts like credit cards, loans, and car payments.

But instead of getting back in debt again, how about some free traveling courtesy of Uncle Sam? You could actually go so far as to get a personal grant to “start a home based web business” or “informational center”. This means the government could pay for your new computer and finances your web hosting so you can “research, explore and inform”. Once you build your website, you then can acquire a additional personal grants to finance your traveling expenses while you do your “research” so you can come back and “inform” everyone of your findings by posting on the website of your “home based business.” Sounds extravagant, but there may be people doing this, and there may be people getting approved for such ridiculous grants.

The sad part is not that these people are taking money from the government, but they are in essence taking money from the American people. Because government grants are funded with American taxpaying dollars, we are the ones funding these “projects,” and preventing people who really need the money from receiving it. With enough need and creative thought any can qualify to receive personal grants.

Guest Post by: Emila Sanderson

I thank God, Uncle Sam and all of you American taxpayers for providing US citizens with personal grants programs. They really saved my butt in the biggest of ways.

In my younger days I made an enormously overwhelming amount of mistakes and irresponsible decisions. I was real rebellious and careless maniac. My parents spent tens of thousands of dollars on my college education, which were spent in vein while blew off class and spent allowances on road trips and partying. When they became financially exhausted by my college expenses, I began taking out student and personal loans to finish school.

Amazingly, I did graduate. However, I was still a poor decision maker as far as financial planning was concerned. I over spent on all my credit cards and a couple of my mom’s. I financed a car I couldn’t afford, rented an apartment I couldn’t afford and was still buried in defaulted student loans. Not to mention all the money I owed my parents. Government funded personal grants literally saved me, and my family, from certain financial doom.

While exploring the options of bankruptcy, chapter 7, and debt consolidation, I stumbled upon a web link to a variety of government financial aid programs. I was amazed to find that there are numerous amounts of government agencies that provide personal grants to people who have financial issues similar to mine. It’s really quite incredible. There is an exorbitant amount of free government money available to help you out of even the most careless and irresponsible forms of debt.

Most people are well aware of government grant funding for college education, or medical research and things of that nature. But most, like myself, have remained unaware of personal grant programs and opportunities for decades.

Since you can apply for as many as you need, I acquired several personal grants to pay of the following debts;

I received a personal grant for $4300 to pay my delinquent car payments and halt repossession

Another personal grant to pay all of my credit card debts – in full

Nearly $13,000 to get current on my student loan payments

Just over $1200 to pay utility bills that were pending disconnection

About $2700 to pay back rent just before the eviction trial

In total, I received over twenty thousand dollars in free government money through personal grants. I virtually escaped financial ruin and possibly even homelessness by the skin of my teeth. It’s amazing to me that I don’t have to pay this money back and it doesn’t show on my credit report. My parents were also able to qualify for personal grants to help with the financial strain I caused them. I can sleep a little better at night about that too.

If you are one of millions of Americans today buckling under the pressures of personal debt, government grants can help you pay your bills and credit card debt. No one needs to be reminded of the current state of the American economy. The economy is still recovering and taking it’s toll on most US citizens. Every day we see our friends and families suffering from the overwhelming burdens of personal debt. As a result of increasing taxes coinciding with tens of thousands pay reductions and layoffs, millions of Americans are facing the threats of automobile repossession, eviction, foreclosure, utility disconnection, and in the most extreme cases, homelessness. Sadly, the majority of the population has slipped deep into personal debt and many are losing everything they’ve worked so hard to achieve.

There is hope. Very few American citizens are aware of the fact that there are government grant programs for personal debt readily available, and are obtainable for American citizens who are in need of financial government aid. In these times of poor economy while we border line on depression, each and every American citizen needs to be aware of the existence of personal debt grants. This form of financial aid can seriously save those in dire situations from the certain doom that extreme personal debt can bring.

Personal debt grants are less commonly known than your everyday college or research grants, yet they are still equally as plentiful and acquirable. And just like those types of more popular grants, personal debt grants are non taxable, and you never have to pay them back. This is literally free government money that can really save your butt! There are personal debt grants that can be obtained for purposes such as paying off credit card debt, paying back mortgage payments, repaying student loans, back taxes to avoid foreclosure, paying delinquent rent or car payments, and many other personal expenses.

If you, like most Americans, are suffering from the financial burdens that this country is facing and are struggling with personal debt, consider applying for government grants. There is hope for all of us in personal debt grant programs, and as taxpayers you’re entitled to it.The government helped us get into this mess, it’s time they helped us out of it.

Free grant money is being awarded to people who aren’t really “needy” or going to college, or looking to start businesses. There indeed are several generous grant programs available for such purposes, but I was flabbergasted to find that there is also free grant money available for people, like me, who have no specific purpose and just want to have fun. Sound insane, doesn’t it?

You can get free grant money to sing, dance, paint, write songs or poetry, sculpt, act, and all kinds of groovy artsy things. I for one am excited to stumble on this fabulous secret and am anxious to share what I’ve found with my fellow artistic slackers! As a bonus, we are able to spread our art and knowledge of recreation to artistically and culturally enhance the entertainment of others. So we can no longer be labeled as slackers. Sweet!

If you are like me, and prefer the activities listed above to attending college for a more “practical” or “traditional” career, sit down and brace yourself because we have stumbled upon the greatest free grant money loophole we artists could ever imagine!

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)

Awwwe, yeah! Finally a couple of respectable agencies that not only recognize the cultural and recreational value of free expression, but also that you don’t necessarily have to be book smart, studious, or desire a professional or medical career to contribute to society and better yourself. These organizations give away free grant money to people like you and I every day to support a variety of creative projects like dance troops, theater performances, poetry, writing literature, orchestras, recording music, painting galleries, filming documentaries, and any other type of creative or informational expression you can imagine.

Hallelujah brothers! Finally they see the light and we have our chance to shine!

The NEH and NEA have been awarding free grant money for artistic and humanities related projects since 1965 (coincidentally during the peak of the “Flower Power” era). Being avid supporters of the arts, literature, research, and preservation programs in the humanities, they have consistently awarded billions of dollars in free grant money for nearly half a century. Where was I? I can only imagine how much further along some of my artistic projects could be by now if I had known about these organizations and the free grant money they offer sooner.

I for one will be investigating these options to the fullest extent. If you’re in need of free grant money to enhance you’re creative expression, I suggest you follow my lead.

Every year millions of dollars in government grant money goes unclaimed. Free money, and no one claims it! Sounds absurd, but it’s true. There are a few different reasons why people don’t take advantage of the financial aid the government makes available to American citizens. And it’s a shame because this free government money could greatly improve your lives, your community and even the economy!

Here are a couple of reasons why many folks are not applying for this free government money, and reasons why they’re wrong about not doing so. There’s no reason why everyone shouldn’t take advantage of the wonderful financial aid programs that we pay for in taxes;

PRIDE – The minute you drop the term “financial aid”, people automatically assume this applies only to the desperately poverty stricken, low class, under privileged, etc. Some feel that there is shame in receiving help from the government or charity. Free government grants are far from a “hand out”. The government is required by law to distribute this money to taxpayers for any reasonable and verifiable purpose. That’s what it’s there for and you are entitled to it.

DISBELIEF – Many people just can’t believe that this is possible. “Why would the government do me any favors?” They’re not! Well yes, I guess in a sense they are since it works to your advantage, but believe me, it works to their advantage too. It may seem like they’re doing you a favor by giving out millions in free government money to new home owners and aspiring small business people, but the fact is, you’re doing them the favor. For example, giving taxpayers home and business grants are the government’s way of investing in urban development without having to do all the footwork. It’s much simpler for them to give you the funds to make real estate purchases, home improvements and start or expand small businesses than for them to do it themselves. It’s beneficial to all parties for you to receive these grants, and beneficial to our communities and economy as well. Not to mention that it’s an easy way for them to unload all the money that they are required to distribute.

There are many more reasons than I could ever list why all taxpaying American should take advantage of government grant programs and financial aid. And there are hundreds of different types of grant programs for thousands of different purchases. Why not research your eligibility options and get what’s entitled to you? See how much of that free government money is actually yours.

Grants for single moms are fantastic, especially if you are one of the many busy single moms who have tried to return to school, but simply didn’t have enough time, money or affordable child care. The burdens of work, commuting, shopping, cleaning and trying to spend quality time with our children, can make it really hard to find the time to research ways to obtain financial assistance from the government, but it’s well worth the effort. For you, and your family.

Many of the American single mothers were once unable to pursue a higher education due to life circumstances would have otherwise become trapped in a cycle of low wages and underemployment had it not been for taking advantage of the various single mothers grants made available by the US government each year.

Although not many take advantage (surprisingly), the government has been providing these resources to single moms everywhere for decades. They are required by law to give away billions of dollars worth of financial aid and single mother’s grants every year. The government does not advertise this free government money, so not many people apply for it. But it’s there, and if you’re a single mother, grant money is a good as yours.

Ladies, there is serious life changing potential here. It will take hard work and determination, as most things in do, but continued success by using free government money for education is not unachievable. Particularly for the single mother.

Believe it or not, you can continue your education and begin to change your life for the better today.

In two basic steps. Now pay close attention and stay with me.

Step One – There are single mom grants for child day care expenses. Acquire one of those and now you’ve got your little ones taken care of at no cost to you and you’ve freed yourself up some time to look into going back to school while still working and caring for your family. You’ve also saved a fortune in day care and after school program expenses. So treat yourself to a new purse or briefcase because you’re one step closer to a new career and you’ll need a bigger purse to carry all that money around once you’ve reached your goals.

Step Two – Select a local college that offers part time courses and apply for single mom college grants and scholarships in the admissions counseling office. They will provide you with all the forms and information you need to obtain free college grants and scholarships specifically designed for single mothers. The will also guide you through the grant writing application process. It won’t be long before you’re putting together your plan to exercise the funds that you surely are to be awarded.

Those basic TWO STEPS can get you well on your way back to college without burying yourself in debt or sacrificing precious time with your children. Now here are some basic facts to help you make it even easier on yourself using more of the single mother’s grant programs that are available…..

*You can apply for as many single mother’s grant programs as are available in your area, and are likely to qualify for all of them!

*You can find single mom grant to purchase school supplies. For you and your children.

*You can also qualify for a variety of women minority grants because, you as a woman, fall into a minority category.

I could go on and on. There are virtually hundreds of grant programs and scholarships, as well as dozens of various financial aid agencies specifically designed to benefit single mothers. Go for it Mom!

The government and other organizations provide low-income grants to help you and your family during times of financial hardship. You must qualify to receive these funds, but you can find out quickly by submitting an free grant application.

There are virtually billions of dollars in free government money that you can use to recover from the financial trauma that so many of us have experienced during the recent years of the Bush administration. Although it is free government money, it is not welfare, nor a “hand out”. This free government money is set aside each year by the government for the specific purpose of providing financial aid to TAXPAYERS who have faced some form of hardship. We have PAID FOR IT in taxes, and are entitled to receive it in times of need.

This type of financial aid is awarded to low income individuals and families in the form of low-income grants. These grants are not subject to repayment. Again, this is not welfare, nor is it a loan. It is free government money to help you with numerous amounts of financial responsibilities and debts while you recover from the aftermath of good old George W. There is no shame in looking to the government for low income grants to get back on your feet. They (ahem, George W.) had no shame in destroying our economy and squandering our tax money. They owe it to you!

By Law, the government is obligated to give us this money. What better time to take it!

Now more than ever, thousands of American citizens are applying for low-income grants and various forms of financial aid. With all the corporation shut downs, lay offs, lost pensions and retirement funds that we have lost, why wouldn’t you? If you have been a victim of poor national budgeting (who hasn’t?), how can you not? The situation in the White House helped get you into this situation, let it help you out of it!

I urge all Americans who have fallen upon hard times due to the current government conditions to apply diligently for all the low-income grants they can find! Get your hands on as much free government money and financial aid as you possibly can! Do it now! The government owes it to yo. Pay off your credit card debts with it, save your home from foreclosure with it; pay your bills, college tuition, mortgage or rent, or any other things you’ve fallen financially behind on. Get your share, pay your debt, have peace of mind.

If you’ve watched the news recently, you’ve heard how billions of dollars in personal government grants are available for Americans to claim. This free grant money is not just for low-income families. You may be eligible to claim some of this money for you own personal use for a variety of reasons.

Types of Personal Government Grants

With thousands of grant programs through the government and private foundation grants, there is a wide variety of uses for this money. Here is just a short list of some of the personal government grants you can apply for right now:

Grants to Start or Expand a Home Based Business

Personal Government Grants to Pay for College

Government Grants to Fix Your Home

Free Grant Money for Professional Training and Job Search

Grants to Help You Pay Your Mortgage or Rent

To claim some of these funds from the government, you need to be at least 18 years old and an American citizen. If you meet those two requirements, you can apply for as many grant programs as you like. Some of the information you need to submit is just your personal information, but small business grants, for example, typically ask that you send a business plan and income expectations, among other things.

For the most part, there is no credit check and you do not need a co-signer to receive these funds. That’s because personal government grants are not loans. Once you are approved, you will get money that you never have to repay.
