Guest Post by: Emila Sanderson

I thank God, Uncle Sam and all of you American taxpayers for providing US citizens with personal grants programs. They really saved my butt in the biggest of ways.

In my younger days I made an enormously overwhelming amount of mistakes and irresponsible decisions. I was real rebellious and careless maniac. My parents spent tens of thousands of dollars on my college education, which were spent in vein while blew off class and spent allowances on road trips and partying. When they became financially exhausted by my college expenses, I began taking out student and personal loans to finish school.

Amazingly, I did graduate. However, I was still a poor decision maker as far as financial planning was concerned. I over spent on all my credit cards and a couple of my mom’s. I financed a car I couldn’t afford, rented an apartment I couldn’t afford and was still buried in defaulted student loans. Not to mention all the money I owed my parents. Government funded personal grants literally saved me, and my family, from certain financial doom.

While exploring the options of bankruptcy, chapter 7, and debt consolidation, I stumbled upon a web link to a variety of government financial aid programs. I was amazed to find that there are numerous amounts of government agencies that provide personal grants to people who have financial issues similar to mine. It’s really quite incredible. There is an exorbitant amount of free government money available to help you out of even the most careless and irresponsible forms of debt.

Most people are well aware of government grant funding for college education, or medical research and things of that nature. But most, like myself, have remained unaware of personal grant programs and opportunities for decades.

Since you can apply for as many as you need, I acquired several personal grants to pay of the following debts;

I received a personal grant for $4300 to pay my delinquent car payments and halt repossession

Another personal grant to pay all of my credit card debts – in full

Nearly $13,000 to get current on my student loan payments

Just over $1200 to pay utility bills that were pending disconnection

About $2700 to pay back rent just before the eviction trial

In total, I received over twenty thousand dollars in free government money through personal grants. I virtually escaped financial ruin and possibly even homelessness by the skin of my teeth. It’s amazing to me that I don’t have to pay this money back and it doesn’t show on my credit report. My parents were also able to qualify for personal grants to help with the financial strain I caused them. I can sleep a little better at night about that too.

The government and other organizations provide low-income grants to help you and your family during times of financial hardship. You must qualify to receive these funds, but you can find out quickly by submitting an free grant application.

There are virtually billions of dollars in free government money that you can use to recover from the financial trauma that so many of us have experienced during the recent years of the Bush administration. Although it is free government money, it is not welfare, nor a “hand out”. This free government money is set aside each year by the government for the specific purpose of providing financial aid to TAXPAYERS who have faced some form of hardship. We have PAID FOR IT in taxes, and are entitled to receive it in times of need.

This type of financial aid is awarded to low income individuals and families in the form of low-income grants. These grants are not subject to repayment. Again, this is not welfare, nor is it a loan. It is free government money to help you with numerous amounts of financial responsibilities and debts while you recover from the aftermath of good old George W. There is no shame in looking to the government for low income grants to get back on your feet. They (ahem, George W.) had no shame in destroying our economy and squandering our tax money. They owe it to you!

By Law, the government is obligated to give us this money. What better time to take it!

Now more than ever, thousands of American citizens are applying for low-income grants and various forms of financial aid. With all the corporation shut downs, lay offs, lost pensions and retirement funds that we have lost, why wouldn’t you? If you have been a victim of poor national budgeting (who hasn’t?), how can you not? The situation in the White House helped get you into this situation, let it help you out of it!

I urge all Americans who have fallen upon hard times due to the current government conditions to apply diligently for all the low-income grants they can find! Get your hands on as much free government money and financial aid as you possibly can! Do it now! The government owes it to yo. Pay off your credit card debts with it, save your home from foreclosure with it; pay your bills, college tuition, mortgage or rent, or any other things you’ve fallen financially behind on. Get your share, pay your debt, have peace of mind.

Of the billions of grant programs available by the government and private organizations, low income grants rank as some of the most popular grants that Americans seek. These programs often provide free money that doesn’t have to be paid back to individuals and families facing financial hardship. Most of these grants are provided to:

Help Pay Off Debt

Provide Money to Pay Rent or Federal Housing

Offer Assistance to College Students for School

Typically there is no credit needed, no collateral, and no co-signers. Because grants are not loans, they typically do not require the same application process that you would find when applying for a personal loan.

Those who are having trouble keeping up with their bills should not overlook the potential to receive federal grant money. As long as you are at least 18 years old and an American citizen, you can apply to receive low income grants. The government may be able to provide you with low income homeowner, renter and college student financial support.

If you look beyond low income grants provided by the government, you can find a number of non-profit organizations that also offer financial assistance with low income grants. These offer support for a wider range of needs, such as food, assistance of medical bills, and other debt problems you may be facing as a result of a lack of income.
