I can remember a time when my elementary school had a bake sale to raise money for new manually operated film projectors. Today, my son’s elementary school applies for technology grants to finance laptop computers and virtual reality equipment. We have certainly come a long way since I was a child growing up. Much further than I thank any of us may have expected, both technologically and also in our methods of raising the funds that finance the miraculous and ever changing windows into the future.

With society’s fast paced and constantly evolving existence, it seems that life and basic survival have become much more complicated in every passing decade. The need to “keep up” seems to be increasingly detrimental to any individuals success in the modern world. Hence the need for advanced technological inventions and advancements that aid in efficiency, accuracy and organizational skill. Looking forward into the future, again recognizing the increasingly fast pace our society evolves at in the new millennium; we must keep the youth of the planet properly educated in modern technology and familiarize them with the equipment necessary to achieve such skills and knowledge. Plainly put, it’s our only hope. Technology grants are available in enormous amounts to help achieve this common worldly goal.

Each year the US government distributes over seven hundred and twenty five million dollars to an agency called The United States Department of Education. This agency sponsors a program appropriately named “Enhancing Education Through Technology”. This is a phenomenal program that does just that. It greatly enhances the process of technological education by awarding technology grants to numerous schools, libraries, community self help centers, park districts, and other facilities that provide educational programs to community members. The funds awarded in these grants are used to purchase computers, internet access, technological training, and staffing of these educational learning facilities.

We’ve all heard so much about the “No Child Left Behind” foundation. Every single solitary program sponsored by this amazing and essential foundation is a juncture to utilize this funding for an endless amount of favorable purposes. This foundation grants a majority of the awards required by law to distribute to numerous organizations in efforts to integrate modern technology into the US educational system’s basic curriculum. Hence providing the nations youth, our future, with the knowledge of advanced technological equipment and procedures that they will be required to master in order to keep up with the fast paced future we anticipate to come. This foundation has made it not only their goal, but also their oath to society that each child in America will be technologically literate before entering high school. And they’re backing it up with $750 million dollars in government funded technology grants.

While we all know that our public education system in America is in need of some serious help, what too few citizens know is that there are grants for teachers that can profusely aid in financing the essential items needed to enhance their lesson plans, hence better educating American children, or even college aged students.

The US Government provides an enormous amount of free government money to teachers of every student age level or subject of study each and every year. Billions of dollars are set aside every year for specifically this purpose. To financially aid the educators in our society by providing much needed funds to improve the quality of their curriculum. This money is distributed by way of government funded grants for teachers.

These cash donations are awarded to teachers of preschool, elementary, high school and even college aged students. The funds can be used for various purposes as long as they are structurally beneficial to the educational process of the students. Any single teacher can apply for virtually tens of thousands of dollars to finance educational materials that their institutions or learning facilities could not otherwise afford. Such educational enhancements may include books, school supplies, laboratory equipment, computers or technological equipment, even field trips, desks, microscopes or classroom furnishings. Government funded grants for teachers can often times provide full financing for all of these items at no cost to the teacher or the facility.

Many American educators have been using these resources for years in efforts to raise funds to improve the quality of their lesson plans and update the necessary equipments they need to properly teach their students. When their learning facilities cannot afford to provide them with the tools they need, these grants are an essential form of funding to aid in the cause. This is a common practice among both public and private school educators who desire to provide the best possible education to their students no matter what level of financing their particular institution provides. The most dedicated of teachers sometimes utilize several grants per year, every year in efforts of keeping up on all the current discoveries and learning tools. Studies have shown that the students of educators who advantage grants for teachers generally have a higher grade point average and are more up to date in their knowledge of modern technology, procedures, and scientific research.

If you are a student, parent of a student, or an educator that believes the school or learning facility you are attending could use some updating or enhancements to the curriculum, but it just doesn’t have the funding, talk to your administrators about the possibilities of acquiring grants for teachers. It could make a world of difference to everyone who passes through those doors.

Each year, over 400,000 qualified students who are unaware that they qualify for free college grants elect not to return to college because they cannot afford it, while millions of dollars in government school grants go unclaimed. The numbers are staggering. Free college grants are available to darn near anyone, yet amazingly hundreds of thousands of people are forgoing their educations in lieu of taking advantage of free government money.

Though there are several, and most people are eligible, only a fraction of potential students apply for this type of financial aid. One reason is, finding these unadvertised free money for college can sometimes be tedious and frustrating. But nothing great in life is that easy. Surely receiving thousands of dollars in non repayable financial aid to enhance your education and earn a degree is worth the effort put forth to search it out. I simply cannot conceive as to why so many young adults are not taking advantage of these government grant programs for college.

We all know that college graduates have a much higher success rate in today’s society. Here are some facts that may persuade you to investigate the opportunity of free college grants.

* As the yearly list price for the average public college is roughly $6000, and private universities around $23,000, it is completely possible to obtain enough free college grants to finance, part, half, or even all of this tuition expense.

*There are personal student loans and grants that can also absorb the cost of books, lab fees, dorms, travel, food, and school supplies.

*You can also apply for government funded college scholarships that will fund a great portion of your tuition.

And most importantly…

A college graduate, even with as little as an associates degree, will earn in a lifetime, nearly one million dollars more than the mere high school graduate. That’s is nearly $17,000 more per year!

College graduates holding bachelor’s degrees not only make more money, they have been proven superior consumer decision making skills, more significant amounts of savings, and advanced professional flexibility.

The purchase of a college education, even when funded with free college grant money, warrant a college tax credit!

The amount of time and effort spent researching, requesting and achieving free college grants is merely a fraction of the efforts you’ll expend furthering your education. If you can handle attending college, you can handle the grant writing process to help you finance it. Don’t let a better life pass you by.

400,000 American students could have extended their education with free money for college. Were you on of them?

If you think you cannot afford college, you certainly may want to look into free college grants funded by the government before making the decision to forgo your college education. The ever increasing cost of a higher education, in times when unemployment is on the rise, is understandably making many potential college students question whether or not accumulating enormous amounts of debt for college is in the long run worth the expense.

And who can blame them? Thousands of dollars in debt in a poor economy vs even a low paying job with moderate job security, is sadly a tough decision to make these days. Before making that decision, one should indubitably research college grants as a means to finance a higher education.

Studies have shown that college graduates who earn even an associate’s degree will earn considerably more than high school graduates. And many of those individuals were able to afford and achieved their bachelor’s degrees through the financial aid of college grants. It is proven that the value of a continued education indeed does warrant the investment, and acquiring free college grants can ease the financial burden.

Statistics show that the average high school graduate, throughout the course of an adult lifetime, will earn an estimated $1.2 million dollars. A graduate holding a associate’s degree averages a rough $1.6 million, a considerable increase. And those who carry a bachelor’s degree estimate around $2.1 million. The statistics speak for themselves. There’s no denying that the success rate for college graduates is greatly higher than that of those who have chosen, for whatever reason, not to pursue a higher education after high school.

Understanding that investing nearly $10,000 a year can be a terrifying consideration for any family, particularly low income individuals, you must know that there are several college grants, scholarships, and other financial aid programs that can help. You may be eligible for more than one and you can apply for as many grants and scholarships as you like.

Many desperate students found that a combination of free college grants and scholarships absorbed a great deal of their tuition costs and reduced the amount of money needed in student loans. Others found enough scholarships and college grants to completely finance their entire education. It is very possible to achieve this. Isn’t an investment of a few thousand dollars worth the million dollar difference it will make in your lifetime?

For those who do desire superior education that ultimately leads to a better quality of life, college grants are a useful tool to implement while planning your financial strategy to do so. No matter what your financial situation, or how unattainable the tuition funds may appear to be, there is hope. Government funded college grants and student financial aid is available to you. Don’t let the failing job market and poor economy persuade you to think that investing in a college education is gamble.

Acquiring government grants for college can in a lifetime, be virtually an extra million dollars in your pocket. It doesn’t take a college degree to know that’s worth it!

Right now with the poor state of economy our country is in it is a crying shame to see how the quality of our public school systems is diminishing due to the lack of much needed funding. It’s somewhat of a relief to learn that many secondary and middle school administrators have added writing grants to their fund raising “to do” lists. Traditionally, public schools, elementary and middle schools have relied on the success of fund raising events such as bake sales, door to door candy sales, rummage sales and car washes to supplement their budgets. While most private schools, college universities, and nonprofit organizations reap the rewards of free government money through writing grants.

In recent times though, it’s becoming more and more popular for public school administrators to compete with those private institutions for that much needed government money. This is achieved by diligently applying the very same fundraising strategies that have proven to benefit these other organizations, grant writing!

All over the country secondary school principals and other public school authorities are looking beyond their traditional funding raising sources and executing this more effective and sophisticated technique of grant writing to raise virtually millions of dollars to benefit their schools.

Public education foundations across America have taken a more austere approach to writing grants and have become quite serious about the importance of fund raising. They have to! The measly excuse for a budget that is given to our public school systems is simply NOT ENOUGH. Now, in many cases, executive directors are hired full time to create and provide fundraising programs and leadership. In other instances, free lance professional grant writers and funding consultants are employed or contracted to seek out supplemental funding opportunities for local school districts.

With modern technology always on the rise, it can be quite difficult for under funded educational institutions to keep their students up to date with the technology they’ll need to be familiar with in today’s world. Our public school systems are writing grants everyday in efforts to receive free government money to finance the much needed equipment for their students such as, computers, software, and training classes for the educators who use this equipment with their students. Grant writing is also an excellent way for public schools to receive government grants to finance field trips, additional books and school supplies, upgrade the nutritional quality of their school lunch dietary plan, and virtually hundreds of other causes.

I’ll have to agree with the administration that the concept that our public education system is in dire need of an overhaul. Our children are indeed the forefront of our future. Not only do they DESERVE an excellent education; we NEED them to receive one. All of our futures depend on it.

This writer can only hope that more and more public school administrators practice the procedure of grant writing. With the funds made available by the US government through grants, our public education systems can be greatly improved and the future of our children may just be a little brighter.

As more and more students go back to college and costs continue to rise, some are tapping in to the government college grants that are available to help pay for school. With billions of dollars in free grant money available, why aren’t more students applying for these funds? They simply don’t know that they exist.

A typical student or parent will visit the college’s financial aid office to discuss how much college is really going to cost and what options they may have for financing tuition, books and student housing. In most cases, the financial aid advisor will discuss student loans that the college and government provides. If they ever get to discussing the free government college grants that are available, it is probably the last thing that comes up in the discussion.

Why? Colleges make money when they sell you student loans. When you obtain money that does not have an interest rate and financing that you never have to pay back, the college has no monetary interest in that transaction.

Unfortunately, that leaves most students and parents uneducated about all the options they have available to help pay for school.

How to Obtain Government College Grants

The government does very little advertising, if any at all, which is why a low awareness about grants for college students exists. Savvy students, however, are able to dig a little deeper and find the billions of dollars that are available to millions of Americans. There are hundreds of grant programs just to help college students obtain a degree, and claiming some of this money can be as easy as filling out an application. Government college grants are available for:

First Generation Students

Single Mothers

Returning Students

Low Income Students

Engineers and International Business Students

There are hundreds of programs offered not only by the government, but by organizations that provide private foundation grants as well. Once you see the grant money that is available and how easy it is to obtain, you’ll realize that no one should be held back from obtaining an education because of money.

One of the greatest things about the college system is that you can get free grant money to pay for school. No matter how expensive your college may cost, any American citizen that is at least 18 years old can apply for education grants and receive free money to help pay for college tuition, books, student housing and other educational expenses.

What’s the catch? You have to ask for it.

Most people go through the motions of going to college, visiting their financial aid office, obtaining a student loan (if they have a co-signer and good credit) and then years after they graduate they find themselves deeply in debt. Today’s average college student graduates from school with over $50,000 in debt. The rate that college tuition is climbing, that figure will double just a few years from now.

But college students who are smart and resourceful dig a little deeper and use the resources that are available to them as an American citizen. They find grant money for school that is provided by the government, and they never have to pay it back.

Millions of college students are obtaining free money just by filling out an application and asking for it. If you qualify and meet the criteria for the college education grant, you could shave thousands of dollars off your tuition bill. In many cases, once you are approved you will receive the education grant money again the following year. Year after year, you’ll save thousands of dollars by having the government or some other private foundation grant pay for your college tuition.

These programs can get you the money you need fast. The grants for college students that are available today really should be the very first resource that students and parents consider to help pay for college — regardless of income. With government grant money, there may be no credit check, no income verification, and no collateral needed.

Women and minorities have even more options to choose from, as there are specific college eduction grants for students designed specifically for them. The money is available, it’s just a matter of asking for it.

Even with all the free scholarships for college that I was awarded, I still ended up with some student loans that I’m repaying now. But… I cut my tuition bill in half, which is pretty nice. I can only imagine how much my student loan bills would be right now if I had an additional $50,000 to pay back. Not something I really wanted to worry about with my first job out of college.

Here’s the cool part — none of these scholarships were for good grades or athletics or anything like that. I partied my ass off in college and definitely wasn’t an honor student.

There’s tons of places you can be awarded scholarships for just by filling out a quick application online. It takes 45 seconds and if you are awarded the money, you’ll find out pretty quick. So here’s what I’d do…

Step 1: Get $10,000 in Free Scholarship for College

This is the easiest money you can make, and it’s hardly and application. Just enter in your contact info so they know how to reach you when you are awarded the money, and you’ll get $10,000 cash in hand. I don’t know how much your tuition is, but $10k can go a long way in paying for textbooks and student housing.

The best part is that these free scholarships for college never have to be paid back. Once you receive it, the money is all yours. But don’t stop there…

Step 2: Find Grants for College Students

When I was in college, I didn’t know what grants were exactly. All I knew is that it was money someone was giving me for free to pay for college. I figured it was some rich alumni that decided he wanted to give back by helping other students out financially. Turns out that the money was actually free grant money that the government gives out.

Most college kids find money to pay for college through their financial aid office, which suggests a bunch of loans for you to take out. At the time, you’re just looking for any way to pay for college. What you don’t realize is that the school gets a kickback for any loans that it sells to you. So of course they aren’t going to tell you about the free grant money. They don’t make any money off you if they do.

After you finish step 1 about, check out the the government grants that are available for students. This is another resource you can use and get a check in the mail in a week. All you have to do is look at all the government grants available and then apply for them. The grants for college students kit will even complete the applications for you.

That will get you started and should give you more than enough free scholarships for college than you’ll ever need.

Good luck!

College costs a fortune, and it is only getting worse. Even after years of adding to a college savings plan, students will likely need to turn to financial aid for school. The average students graduates from college with over $50,000 in debt, and that’s just in college tuition debt. This does not include the thousands of dollars in racked up credit card debt to pay for books and basic living expenses.

The financial burden to obtain a degree is not getting any better. Every year the college costs, textbooks and housing is increasing at a rapid rate. Not only in most cases is it necessary to seek financial aid for school, but it is also smart to tap into these resources.

Financial aid for school can take many different forms. Your college’s financial aid office will be able to help discuss the different options with you, but there are a few basic things you need to know.

First, not all financial aid is equal. Beside academic and athletic scholarships, there are private loans, government loans, and then there are grant programs to help pay for college. A lot of times when you need financing for college, you’ll take whatever will allow you to register for classes the next semester. Don’t let this get the best of you. Look at the financial aid terms closely.

For one, private loans may require you to start repaying immediately. That means if you receive a $10,000 loan to pay your tuition, in 4 weeks your first bill will come due, and you might not be able to afford it.

You’ll even want to read the fine print of federal student loans. Payment on these will typically be due six months after you graduate or are no longer a full-time student. In other words, if you need to take a semester or two off, or reduce your credit load so you can work more, you may have to start repayment on these loans. In addition, you may no longer qualify to recieve the loan if you enter part-time status.

The Best Financial Aid for School

One option that often gets overlooked are federally funded, government grants for college students. Lenders do a very good job of marketing and advertising their services, which is why student loans may be the first thing that come to mind when seeking financial aid. But the government, who does not advertise, offer grant programs for students. This is free money that does not have to be paid back.

Every year, the government budgets over $40 billion to reduce the financial burden new and returning students have to face in order to obtain a degree. Education is a critical part to the success of the economy, and the government is willing to make an investment in you. All it takes is to ask for this money. If you meet the qualifications, the cash will either be sent directly to your college’s bursar to pay your tuition, or you’ll receive a check in the mail.

These grants are not small amounts of money. Checks for several thousands of dollars are mailed to millions of students every day, and you mind as well too.

Once you browse the government grant database, you’ll realize just how much free money you could have missed out on.

While most educational grant programs are geared towards higher education, there are a handful of high school grants available that will help pay low income families and high schools pay for educational expenses. For families, many of these programs will require the student to achieve a certain grade level, as the government wants to be sure they are investing in someone that has ambition.

For the high school, these programs can help fund new technology equipment and other facility improvements that will better prepare students for college and the workforce.

Unlike private loans and other forms of financial aid, government sponsored high school grants do not need to be paid back. This is what makes them so attractive. As long as the funds are used for their intended purpose, these school grants have no repayment requirements.

The tricky part is that there is only so much money allocated specifically for high school students and institutions. That makes the approval process a challenge since thousands of people are applying for these funds.

There is no limit on the number of grants you can apply for, so the best strategy is to submit as many applications as possible in order to get approved for a few government grants.

This processes usually simply involves writing a short explanation why you, your child should or institution deserves to receive free federal funding. Once you complete your application and drop it in the mail, you could receive a check in the mail in as little as two weeks. These results, of course, vary.

In addition to government sponsored grants, there are a number of educational foundations and businesses that have sponsored programs. These programs help establish good public relations with the community who consumes their products, so it makes good business sense for them to participate in these programs.

To see which free grant programs are available to you and begin the application process, request your free High School Grants kit.
