Well, we’ve certainly learned a great deal about the benefits of looking to the National Health Care Scholarship Corps program for free grant money to bank roll a college education in the medical field. We’ve touched on how beneficial the free grant money can be to those pursuing a career in the medical profession, also the requirements to achieve this free grant money, and the opportunity for all expense paid travel as part of your new career.

Originally, I had set out to research and compose a single article to inform you, and myself, about the benefits provided by the NHCSC. However, now we find ourselves in the third chapter thus far of this informational revelation of opportunity. I’m certain that many of you are as amazed as I am discovering the incredible juncture made possible by obtaining free grant money through the NHCSC.

We’ve already learned about the NHCSC program, how it works, what it does, health care, travel, the service agreement, and most importantly the fact that this program can potentially finance your entire costs of acquiring a medical degree. Let’s talk for a moment about what other valuable information I have found about the benefits of acquiring free grant money for college from the NHCSC program.

Who is Eligible for this Free Grant Money?

Every one. Young, old, rich, poor, black, white — it doesn’t matter. If you are an American citizen pursuing a career in the medical field you can apply for this free grant money, and likely will be awarded it. Allow me to remind you once again, this money need never be repaid to the NHCSC. It’s a gift for which in turn you devote two years paid service to Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSA). As long as you can agree to those terms, and are a US citizen or nationalized citizen, you’re in. This is not a program catering specifically to young adults exiting prep school. Even if you are mid aged, or a senior citizen, looking for a career change, or just possess the desire to help our country face the issues of inadequate health care facilities, The National Health Care Scholarship Corps will assist you in pursuing this dream.

What if I’ve Already Paid for Med School?

Now this is amazing. If you, or one of your family members has already paid for college and are interested in the NHCSC program, it’s not too late. Current and post medical school graduates who are buckling under the tremendous financial strain of trying to pay back student college loans can also look to the NHCSC for help. All medical professionals or those who are studying to become them are eligible for free grant money. The NHCSC will actually give you the funds you need to pay off your old college debts, finance continued advanced education, and/or travel expenses. Again, the same rules apply. You’ll be required to provide two years of medical service to one, or several, designated HPSAs in return for this generous gift education.

Two years of paid travel for rewarding public service sure does seem like a minimal payment for a gift that will enrich your life and the lives of others, forever. Doesn’t it?

In past articles I have written to inform you about grant scholarships for college that are awarded yearly by an organization called The National Health Care Corps program. As not to repeat the content of past articles I’ve published on this topic, in a nut shell I will briefly summarize (for those who aren’t privy) who the NHCSC is and what they do, before getting to the new and even more intriguing information I’ve come across.

What is the NHCSC?

The NHCSC is a fascinatingly generous foundation that awards grant scholarships for college as large as $400, 000 to students, and parents of college students who are pursuing a career in the health care field. This organization operates for the sole purpose of providing grants and scholarships for college students desiring to become health care professionals, in an effort to relieve the issues that our country faces regarding lack of proper health care for it’s citizens.

What is the new information about NHCSC?

I was quite intrigued by the information I found about this foundation, so I decided to keep digging. Receiving $400, 000 worth of grants and scholarships for college to completely finance an education, particularly med school, seemed too good to be true. There had to be a catch. And upon further investigation, I found that there indeed was one. However, In this writer’s opinion, I think it works to your advantage.

So what’s the catch?

You have to travel. Aw, bummer. Who wants to travel to exotic locations and explore the world? For free? Financing trips to further your career on free government money by using grant scholarships for college is a real drag isn’t? Of course not!

The NHCSC program was designed specifically to provide doctors, nurses, medical aides, physicians, practitioners, midwives, etc. to what we call “Health Professional Shortage Areas”. Also known as HPSA areas. These areas, as the title implies, are either rural or urban geographic locations, where there is a shortage of health care providers.

We’ve already learned that the money acquired through grants and scholarships for college from the NHCSC is a gift and need not be repaid. In exchange for the free ride through med school you have received from them, the NHCSC program requires that you serve a minimum of two years paid service in one of these HPSA locations. Not a bad deal if you ask me. A $400,000 medical degree, a bright and rewarding lifetime career, and a guaranteed job for at least two years, that includes travel!

This is a no brainer. If that’s not appealing enough, or perhaps you’re not interested in traveling, you may very well already live in one of these HPSAs! There are an estimated 3,000 HPSAs designated each year. You can possibly not relocate at all, or choose to start your career helping people in exotic places like the Virgin Islands, Guam, or Puerto Rico. Too far from home for you? Maybe Kansas or Tennessee suits you better.

In any case, the option of grant scholarships provided by The NHCSC offers amazing opportunity for exploration, education and fulfillment. Who couldn’t be intrigued by that?

If you think you cannot afford college, you certainly may want to look into free college grants funded by the government before making the decision to forgo your college education. The ever increasing cost of a higher education, in times when unemployment is on the rise, is understandably making many potential college students question whether or not accumulating enormous amounts of debt for college is in the long run worth the expense.

And who can blame them? Thousands of dollars in debt in a poor economy vs even a low paying job with moderate job security, is sadly a tough decision to make these days. Before making that decision, one should indubitably research college grants as a means to finance a higher education.

Studies have shown that college graduates who earn even an associate’s degree will earn considerably more than high school graduates. And many of those individuals were able to afford and achieved their bachelor’s degrees through the financial aid of college grants. It is proven that the value of a continued education indeed does warrant the investment, and acquiring free college grants can ease the financial burden.

Statistics show that the average high school graduate, throughout the course of an adult lifetime, will earn an estimated $1.2 million dollars. A graduate holding a associate’s degree averages a rough $1.6 million, a considerable increase. And those who carry a bachelor’s degree estimate around $2.1 million. The statistics speak for themselves. There’s no denying that the success rate for college graduates is greatly higher than that of those who have chosen, for whatever reason, not to pursue a higher education after high school.

Understanding that investing nearly $10,000 a year can be a terrifying consideration for any family, particularly low income individuals, you must know that there are several college grants, scholarships, and other financial aid programs that can help. You may be eligible for more than one and you can apply for as many grants and scholarships as you like.

Many desperate students found that a combination of free college grants and scholarships absorbed a great deal of their tuition costs and reduced the amount of money needed in student loans. Others found enough scholarships and college grants to completely finance their entire education. It is very possible to achieve this. Isn’t an investment of a few thousand dollars worth the million dollar difference it will make in your lifetime?

For those who do desire superior education that ultimately leads to a better quality of life, college grants are a useful tool to implement while planning your financial strategy to do so. No matter what your financial situation, or how unattainable the tuition funds may appear to be, there is hope. Government funded college grants and student financial aid is available to you. Don’t let the failing job market and poor economy persuade you to think that investing in a college education is gamble.

Acquiring government grants for college can in a lifetime, be virtually an extra million dollars in your pocket. It doesn’t take a college degree to know that’s worth it!

As a parent of two grown children government grants and scholarships literally saved my family from financial ruin. As many parents know the costs of providing a continued education to your children without financial aid for college is enormous. If you have more than one little darling, like I do, it can be clobbering.

We all love our children dearly, and want the best possible for them, but sometimes you’ve got to face it. Your kid may just not be college material! Now before you rake me over the coals, hear me out. I do believe that every person deserves a shot at an education. The question is, how many?

I’m going to tell you from experience how to use college grants and scholarships to send your “not so studious” or “spontaneous” family members an education without gambling your life away on the risk that they, on a whim, take their tuition funds to drop out and go pack packing through the South of France. Or miss an entire semester because they have that once in a lifetime opportunity to roadie for Aerosmith. Arrrgggh! Do you know that I have never been to the south of France? Why? SO I COULD SEND THAT LITTLE JERK TO COLLEGE!

But I financed a trip there! And the other one, ugh! I love Aerosmith too you know, but this crappy tour T-shirt doesn’t match the $10,000 your father dropped for the courses you skipped out on! Damn these kids today! Sorry, I digress……

But yes, I’ve raised an adventurous pair of explorers. Both very bright and eager to learn and succeed. I am indeed very proud of each. But they are still a couple of spontaneous reckless animals! Until I discovered government grants and scholarships I was paying over and over again for THE SAME CLASSES because “Junior” and “Princess” were trying to live up to the characters they so adored in all those ridiculous college comedy movies they watched while they were in high school! Ugh! If only I’d reset those parental controls!

Once I enforced the “three strikes, you’re OUT” rule they fell into line. I paid for each of their tuition TWICE! I know that’s once, too many but I’ve always believed in giving everyone a second chance for every mistake. When they each screwed up the second time (sigh), my husband and I firmly let them know that the last chance for them, was to follow each of these rules;

Find every type of government grant, NO CO SIGNER student loan, or scholarship (believe it or not, even THEY qualified for scholarships), that they could get their hands on.

Continue, WITHOUT SO MUCH AS A PAUSE, with their education.

WITHOUT A PENNY FROM US! No tuition, no books, no dorms, no credit cards, NO NOTHING!

All we gave them was a roof over their heads and food, and let them know that if they broke ANY of these rules EVEN ONCE, they’d be out on their respective wreck loose asses! Thanks to a firm and loving parental reality check, and the help of government student grants, scholarships and NO COSIGNER student loans, we are the proud parents of a music teacher and a professor of Historical French architecture.

Many people, especially but not exclusively young adults, would like to attend college but are not able to afford tuition, textbooks, and dorm expenses. There are various forms of government financial aid that can help.

We all know that a college education is an enormous financial undertaking. The costs of even a bachelor’s degree can be exorbitant. This is a financial investment and commitment and something no one should take lightly. Some who need financial assistance to pursue a college education turn to relatives or friends, but why burden your family with this extra expense when you can easily fill out a simple application for government financial aid?

The process for a new student is seemingly pretty basic, though one could run into a few minimally confusing areas. But there are resources available to familiarize you with the concept of government financial aid, the process of applying, and prepare you for exactly what to expect when you’re ready to apply.

There are several financial aid programs available through the federal government through which low and middle class students can receive government grants and no credit check student loans to go to the college institutions of their choice. The students can apply through their college financial aid office and once an assessment of their individual needs are completed, funds are dispersed to the student to cover tuition, textbooks, dorm or apartment rent, and even gas to get to campus.

First, cover the basics. You’ll need to know what is the difference between a loan and a grant. A government student loan, as the name implies, can sometimes be conducted through a lending company and is expected to be repaid within a reasonable amount of time with a pre-determined amount of interest. Usually the lending company (a bank or credit union, etc.) waives payment on your student loan as long as you are attending class, but you will have to begin making those payments to repay your loan and interest after six months of graduating. A free college grant (often called a Pell Grant), on the other hand, is free money given to you by the government that you never have to pay back.

Now, once you have chosen the university or city college of your choice, your campus should have a financial aid office or student support services department. There you will find financial aid advisers that can help you with the process of enrolling in the government financial aid programs. But, before visiting your advisor, you’ll want to know what to expect before walking through that door. Investigate all the types of government financial aid that is available to you online to eliminate any pre existing questions. Your financial aid adviser will help you decide what are the best options for you and what you will be eligible for with your income level.

In most cases the plan put into action will be a combination of part grant and part loan, but if it turns out you are eligible for enough government college grants to cover your entire tuition, then that’s even better for you because you don’t ever have to pay any of it back. Who couldn’t benefit from a completely free college education?

You will be able to use the government financial aid you receive to buy your books and pay all fees necessary and once you’ve done all of this, your school will give may issue you a check for the remainder of the money. You can use this throughout the semester to get to campus and to buy supplies or have it applied as a credit for future elective classes.

Any and every student or potential college student should thoroughly research all the options out there. Government financial aid may be available to you.

Free college education grants are often the only option for potential college students. It’s an obvious and well known fact that the cost of attending a college or university today is huge. Many potential students who are met with the thousands of dollars of fees to go on to higher education are understandably put off. Even though it is well known that the investment will be repaid in wages and personal fulfillment many times over, it can often be difficult, or even impossible to know where to find the cash to finance a college education in the first place.

Sadly, thousands of young adults each year settle for a mediocre life existence earning little more than minimum wage because they could not afford college and were unaware of billions of dollars in free college grant money available to them.

There is good news however, for college students that are in need of financial aid. There is a plentiful amount of financial aid available for students who don’t possess the funds for a college education. Free college grants are available to all in every income bracket. And unlike a loan, which must be paid off (with interest) over a long period of time, a free college grant is just that… free. You need never pay back the grant money as long as the college grant funds are used for the sole purpose of continuing your education. These are great for taking the pressure off paying for college, and for some, their only hope.

The US government provides hundreds of grant programs to allow thousands of students qualify for a free college grant to help them through the financial burden of going to college. Often, these free college grants can mean that the cost of going to college is actually quite a bit less than the advertised price. The amount of money saved is exorbitant.

It is important to diligently and comprehensively search and apply for free college grants before applying for any repayable, interest gaining loans, as education loans are not always given a lot of publicity. The fact is this, in order to be approved for a student loan, To be a student, you must have first paid some amount of tuition. If you have not yet paid to tuition due to lack of funds, you’re not considered a student and will not be eligible for a student loan.

Acquiring a free college grant first, will get you in the door to a huge variety of educational institutions and on the road to starting a new and successful career. If and when the time comes that you’d like to even further your education, you can apply for another grant! Yes, it’s true that there are no limits to the amount of government grants you can apply for. And once your free college grant enables you to become a student, you become eligible to receive loans as well should you choose to that route.

Attending college may be the single most important decisions you will ever make. It is crucial to acquire as much information as possible regarding financing your education before making the decision that college is unaffordable to you. Starting with a free college grant is a wise decision for anyone who desires a higher education. It could seriously be the determining factor in who you become in life.

As more and more students go back to college and costs continue to rise, some are tapping in to the government college grants that are available to help pay for school. With billions of dollars in free grant money available, why aren’t more students applying for these funds? They simply don’t know that they exist.

A typical student or parent will visit the college’s financial aid office to discuss how much college is really going to cost and what options they may have for financing tuition, books and student housing. In most cases, the financial aid advisor will discuss student loans that the college and government provides. If they ever get to discussing the free government college grants that are available, it is probably the last thing that comes up in the discussion.

Why? Colleges make money when they sell you student loans. When you obtain money that does not have an interest rate and financing that you never have to pay back, the college has no monetary interest in that transaction.

Unfortunately, that leaves most students and parents uneducated about all the options they have available to help pay for school.

How to Obtain Government College Grants

The government does very little advertising, if any at all, which is why a low awareness about grants for college students exists. Savvy students, however, are able to dig a little deeper and find the billions of dollars that are available to millions of Americans. There are hundreds of grant programs just to help college students obtain a degree, and claiming some of this money can be as easy as filling out an application. Government college grants are available for:

First Generation Students

Single Mothers

Returning Students

Low Income Students

Engineers and International Business Students

There are hundreds of programs offered not only by the government, but by organizations that provide private foundation grants as well. Once you see the grant money that is available and how easy it is to obtain, you’ll realize that no one should be held back from obtaining an education because of money.
