There is a fantastic program called SARE, or Sustainable Agriculture Research and Information program, that offers a considerable amount of educational assistance and generous monetary awards to farmers and ranchers in need of sustainable innovations to their agricultural pursuits. The American SARE program contributes, typically, anywhere from five hundred to fifteen thousands dollars per farm grant to the farmers and ranchers who desire to move forward on a cost effective and agriculturally productive level.

There are four regional administrative councils that award this type of funding to recipients and applicants who operate within the boundaries of said regions. First you’ll want to distinguish which of these regions your farming or ranching project is located within. They are separated by areas that include, North Central Region SARE, Northeast Region SARE, Southern Region SARE and Western Region SARE. You may contact the administrative council branch that seems most geographically correct for your location, and if you’re not within their boundaries they will be happy to direct you to the proper facility that can assist you. Again, this organization is equipped to assist the entire country. It’s just a matter of finding out which regional branch is the one specific to your location. Rest assured that each branch does indeed award the farm grants that you may be pursuing.

There are several different types of farming and ranching projects that qualify and are easily approved for farm grants. Some of them include, researching ways to multiply crop production, installing advanced, irrigation systems to conserve water and more efficiently care for crops, taking farming production to a larger level by marketing a new product you’ve developed, and many more. There are quite a bit of major possibilities out there for the more enterprising and innovative rancher or farmer. And there is an abundant amount of farm grants and educational assistance available from the SARE organization.
