NHCSC Eligibility for Student Loan Repayment

Well, we’ve certainly learned a great deal about the benefits of looking to the National Health Care Scholarship Corps program for free grant money to bank roll a college education in the medical field. We’ve touched on how beneficial the free grant money can be to those pursuing a career in the medical profession, also the requirements to achieve this free grant money, and the opportunity for all expense paid travel as part of your new career.

Originally, I had set out to research and compose a single article to inform you, and myself, about the benefits provided by the NHCSC. However, now we find ourselves in the third chapter thus far of this informational revelation of opportunity.  I’m certain that many of you are as amazed as I am discovering the incredible juncture made possible by obtaining free grant money through the NHCSC.

We’ve already learned about the NHCSC program, how it works, what it does, health care, travel, the service agreement, and most importantly the fact that this program can potentially finance your entire costs of acquiring a medical degree. Let’s talk for a moment about what other valuable information I have found about the benefits of acquiring free grant money for college from the NHCSC program.

Who is Eligible for this Free Grant Money?

Every one. Young, old, rich, poor, black, white — it doesn’t matter. If you are an American citizen pursuing a career in the medical field you can apply for this free grant money, and likely will be awarded it. Allow me to remind you once again, this money need never be repaid to the NHCSC. It’s a gift for which in turn you devote two years paid service to Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSA).  As long as you can agree to those terms, and are a US citizen or nationalized citizen, you’re in. This is not a program catering specifically to young adults exiting prep school. Even if you are mid aged, or a senior citizen, looking for a career change, or just possess the desire to help our country face the issues of inadequate health care facilities, The National Health Care Scholarship Corps will assist you in pursuing this dream.

What if I’ve Already Paid for Med School?

Now this is amazing. If you, or one of your family members has already paid for college and are interested in the NHCSC program, it’s not too late.  Current and post medical school graduates who are buckling under the tremendous financial strain of trying to pay back student college loans can also look to the NHCSC for help. All medical professionals or those who are studying to become them are eligible for free grant money. The NHCSC will actually give you the funds you need to pay off your old college debts, finance continued advanced education, and/or travel expenses. Again, the same rules apply. You’ll be required to provide two years of  medical service to one, or several, designated HPSAs in return for this generous gift education.

Two years of paid travel for rewarding public service sure does seem like a minimal payment for a gift that will enrich your life and the lives of others, forever. Doesn’t it?
