How to Apply for Personal Government Grants

If you’ve watched the news recently, you’ve heard how billions of dollars in personal government grants are available for Americans to claim. This free grant money is not just for low-income families. You may be eligible to claim some of this money for you own personal use for a variety of reasons.

Types of Personal Government Grants

With thousands of grant programs through the government and private foundation grants, there is a wide variety of uses for this money. Here is just a short list of some of the personal government grants you can apply for right now:

To claim some of these funds from the government, you need to be at least 18 years old and an American citizen. If you meet those two requirements, you can apply for as many grant programs as you like. Some of the information you need to submit is just your personal information, but small business grants, for example, typically ask that you send a business plan and income expectations, among other things.

For the most part, there is no credit check and you do not need a co-signer to receive these funds. That’s because personal government grants are not loans. Once you are approved, you will get money that you never have to repay.
