Grants for College Students
The federal government gives out over $30 billion every year, and millions of individuals are taking advantage of these grants for college students to help finance the rising costs of college tuition and expenses.
What makes education grants different from student loans is that they do not need to be paid back. This is free money that the government has allocated to help people afford their education. While most people are graduating from college with enormous amounts of debt, savvy students are taking advantage of having their financial aid paid for by the government.
It’s important to know that grants for college students are available to everyone. These are not just for low-income students or minorities, although those programs do exists.
There are over 3,000 grant programs and offers to choose from – everything from grants for law students to grants for your city or state. Just to name a few types of grants for college students:
- Undergraduate and Graduate School
- Vocational and Technical School
- New and Returning Students
- Women and Minority Students
To receive these funds you simply need to apply for the grants you would qualify for, write a short grant proposal, and submit your application. In a week you could receive a check for as much as $50,000 to pay for college.
Usually once you apply and are approved, your funds are directly sent to your college bursars office, but many times you just receive a check in the mail. That gives you the flexibility to use these funds for textbooks, room and board, and other educational expenses.
While there is billions of dollars available, there is limited availability and you’ll want to submit your application fast. To find the right grants to apply and get information on how to properly submit a grant application that will get accepted, request your Free Grant Kit.

I am a Realtor stuck in a horrible market with little to no income now. I am looking to return to college to finish a degree in business. Are there any grants or student loans for women trying to find a new career path?
