Free Scholarships for College
I did everything I possible could do avoid paying for college and became pretty resourceful. There are tons of free scholarships for college available that are hidden under rocks. Once you know how to find and apply for them, it’s actually pretty easy to get the money.
Even with all the free scholarships for college that I was awarded, I still ended up with some student loans that I’m repaying now. But… I cut my tuition bill in half, which is pretty nice. I can only imagine how much my student loan bills would be right now if I had an additional $50,000 to pay back. Not something I really wanted to worry about with my first job out of college.

There’s tons of places you can be awarded scholarships for just by filling out a quick application online. It takes 45 seconds and if you are awarded the money, you’ll find out pretty quick. So here’s what I’d do…
Step 1: Get $10,000 in Free Scholarship for College
This is the easiest money you can make, and it’s hardly and application. Just enter in your contact info so they know how to reach you when you are awarded the money, and you’ll get $10,000 cash in hand. I don’t know how much your tuition is, but $10k can go a long way in paying for textbooks and student housing.

Step 2: Find Grants for College Students
When I was in college, I didn’t know what grants were exactly. All I knew is that it was money someone was giving me for free to pay for college. I figured it was some rich alumni that decided he wanted to give back by helping other students out financially. Turns out that the money was actually free grant money that the government gives out.
Most college kids find money to pay for college through their financial aid office, which suggests a bunch of loans for you to take out. At the time, you’re just looking for any way to pay for college. What you don’t realize is that the school gets a kickback for any loans that it sells to you. So of course they aren’t going to tell you about the free grant money. They don’t make any money off you if they do.
After you finish step 1 about, check out the the government grants that are available for students. This is another resource you can use and get a check in the mail in a week.
