I did renovations to my home which was willed to me by my mother. I was not. able to complete renovations due to unexpected cost. I desperately want to complete renovations and furnish my home. Are thre any grants available to help me. I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you for listening.

1. Is there a charge at any stage of the application and search process?
2. If I find a grant and apply and receive the grant is there a charge then? If yes, how much?

I’m an African American mail, married, work two jobs. I was able to buy a home in Sept 2005, but I had some medical problems with my back. I fell behind with my mortgage payments, my credit score went down badly, and collectors are calling. But I want to know if someone can help me with a minority grants to help me get out of debt. I cared for my mother for 5 years with alzemers and dementia in a very small town with very poor health care and support.had to giveup my job to look after her fulltime.The town we lived in was Quesnel B.C.Could use all support. Thank You!
