Free Grant Money for Art Students and Artists

Free grant money is being awarded to people who aren’t really “needy” or going to college, or looking to start businesses. There indeed are several generous grant programs available for such purposes, but I was flabbergasted to find that there is also free grant money available for people, like me, who have no specific purpose and just want to have fun. Sound insane, doesn’t it?

You can get free grant money to sing, dance, paint, write songs or poetry, sculpt, act, and all kinds of groovy artsy things. I for one am excited to stumble on this fabulous secret and am anxious to share what I’ve found with my fellow artistic slackers! As a bonus, we are able to spread our art and knowledge of recreation to artistically and culturally enhance the entertainment of others. So we can no longer be labeled as slackers. Sweet!

If you are like me, and prefer the activities listed above to attending college for a more “practical” or “traditional” career, sit down and brace yourself because we have stumbled upon the greatest free grant money loophole we artists could ever imagine!

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)

Awwwe, yeah! Finally a couple of respectable agencies that not only recognize the cultural and recreational value of free expression, but also that you don’t necessarily have to be book smart, studious, or desire a professional or medical career to contribute to society and better yourself.  These organizations give away free grant money to people like you and I every day to support a variety of creative projects like dance troops, theater performances, poetry, writing literature, orchestras, recording music, painting galleries, filming documentaries, and any other type of creative or informational expression you can imagine.

Hallelujah brothers! Finally they see the light and we have our chance to shine!

The NEH and NEA have been awarding free grant money for artistic and humanities related projects since 1965 (coincidentally during the peak of the “Flower Power” era). Being avid supporters of the arts, literature, research, and preservation programs in the humanities, they have consistently awarded billions of dollars in free grant money for nearly half a century. Where was I? I can only imagine how much further along some of my artistic projects could be by now if I had known about these organizations and the free grant money they offer sooner.

I for one will be investigating these options to the fullest extent. If you’re in need of free grant money to enhance you’re creative expression, I suggest you follow my lead.
